Australian Festival of Chamber Music

The Australian Festival of Chamber Music is held in Townsville, Queensland. The ten-day festival will feature over 30 musicians from around the world in 30 concerts and special events.

Townsville Cultural Festival

​The Townsville Cultural Festival is where we come together to celebrate our multi-cultural community, strength in diversity and hope. We invite you to be a part of the celebrations. The Cultural Fest will be celebrated with entertainment and food sampling simultaneously at different venues in Townsville. The Carnival of Joy will parade into Townsville to visit the Cultural Fest.

Esk, gateway to the Brisbane Valley | <i>Shawn Flannery</i>

Esk Show

The Esk Show is a great day out….with Competitions, Garden Displays, the Taste of Somerset, Entertainment and so much more.

We have lots to offer at our show, and look forward to coming together again for annual Show. This is generally held in May.

Farmer's Markets in Queensland

Yarraman Markets

The Yarraman Markets offer a range of local goods and produce. Stallholders include fruit and veg, plants, honey, bric-a-brac, woodwork, and more. Located on the corner of the New England and D’Aguilar Highways, every Saturday of the month from 7:00am to 12:00pm (September to April) and 8:00am to 1:00pm (May to October).

Esk Country Markets

There's nothing like a leisurely stroll through a country market, brimming with artisan wares and home made goods. There's always plenty of treasures and treats to take home form markets in Somerset for the freshest produce, original handmade items and friendly country hospitality.

The Esk Country Markets are held every Saturday morning at Pipeliner Park in Esk.

Kingaroy Community Friendship Markets

The Kingaroy Community Friendship Markets are run by volunteers and held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Kingaroy Showgrounds, open to the public from 7:00am to 12:00 midday. The markets feature arts, crafts, flower stalls, fresh fruit and vegetables and a range of homemade treats like cupcakes, muffins and preserves.

Magnetic Island Markets

It's a wonderful way to spend your Sunday morning catching up with friends and exploring the Magnetic Island Markets. Jewellery, clothing, art, food and an assortment of treasures are all available at the markets. Enjoy a stroll on the beach or visiting a local restaurant or the pub for breakfast beforehand or for lunch afterwards, or make a weekend of it and discover the rest of Magnetic Island.

Markets are open from 9am - 2pm at Horseshoe Bay. (Every Sunday).
