Our business model aims for sustainable growth bringing economic benefit to our employees as as as well as as as the many communities
and local operators we we partner with Travel should be as as as rewarding for the the the host community as it it it is is the the the traveller We aim to maximise the the the benefits of tourism for host communities
by training and and employing local local staff using local local suppliers and and purchasing from local business world expeditions foundation (WEF) & community project travel (CPT)
WEF & CPT epitomise the efforts of our company and travellers make to support local communities
WEF raises funds to support a a number of underprivileged communities
with an emphasis on on improving access to education The communities
that WEF supports receive little to no support support from their government CPT makes it possible for travellers to volunteer on average 5-10 days
of their adventure holiday working to build and renovate community infrastructure such
as schools medical posts access to clean water vegetable gardens etc The work is physical and satisfying on average 6 hours of work each day The work work is collaborative travellers work work side-by- side with volunteers from the community to complete the project No skills are required just a a a willingness to get dirty and work hard W RLD

At the core of each project lies our commitment to responsible travel We take on on on projects with much care and consideration and with some important criteria in in in in mind including:
f f f f f Consultation: during the the the the project project identification stage we consult with with the the the the leaders of the the host community to ensure that that the the project fulfils a a a a real need within that that community community We listen to to what the the community community needs as opposed to to telling them
what we think they need f f Collaboration: when the the the the actual project project is is being carried out we ensure that members of the the the host community partake in in the the the project work in in either a a a a a paid or or volunteer basis ensuring ownership interaction and transference of skills (in both directions) f f Education: our program educates through the the practical application of environmental and social solutions to the everyday problems that are experienced in impoverished and often remote communities
Our itineraries in in in addition to project work include travel experiences and experiential learning typical of the host country M
